These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rug ’N’ Roll website and any purchases made through it. By accessing our website, placing an order, entering a giveaway, or interacting with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

Rug ’N’ Roll is a UK-based creative business specialising in bespoke, handmade, hand-tufted rugs and textile artwork.

Our website sales are conducted exclusively via our website hosted on Squarespace.

2. Eligibility & Age Restriction

  • You must be 18 years or older to place an order or make a payment.

  • By purchasing through our website, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

  • Payments are processed via Squarespace’s integrated payment providers only.

3. Nature of Products

  • All rugs are handmade, made-to-order, or produced in small batches.

  • Due to the handmade nature of our products:

    • Minor variations in colour, texture, shape, or finish are normal and not considered defects.

    • Digital mockups, previews, or images are representative only and not exact replicas.

4. Production Times

  • Standard production time is up to 5 weeks unless stated otherwise.

  • Production times are estimates, not guarantees.

  • If production is delayed beyond this timeframe, we will contact you with an update.

  • Delays caused by material availability, supplier issues, illness, or force majeure are not grounds for cancellation or refund.

5. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£).

  • Full payment or an agreed deposit is required before production begins.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Once an order is completed and out for delivery, the full amount becomes non-refundable.

6. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

Due to the bespoke and handmade nature of our products:

  • Custom and made-to-order items are non-refundable and non-returnable.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.

  • Refunds will only be issued where required by UK consumer law or where explicitly stated in writing by Rug ’N’ Roll.

  • No refunds are offered for delays, subjective dissatisfaction, or changes of mind.

7. Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Risk transfers to the customer once the item has been dispatched.

  • We are not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by third-party couriers.

  • Re-shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly stated otherwise.

8. Intellectual Property & Artistic Inspiration

  • All Rug ’N’ Roll designs, branding, content, photography, and written materials are owned by Rug ’N’ Roll unless stated otherwise.

  • Some artworks may be artist-inspired, fan-influenced, or culturally referential.

  • While certain designs may reference popular culture or familiar themes:

    • Rug ’N’ Roll does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property.

    • We do not intend to infringe, steal, or misrepresent copyrighted works.

    • Any similarity is artistic interpretation, not duplication.

  • Customers acknowledge that inspired or fan-style designs are not official, licensed merchandise unless explicitly stated.

9. Custom Artwork Responsibility

  • Customers confirm they have the right to request any custom imagery supplied.

  • Rug ’N’ Roll is not responsible for IP disputes arising from customer-provided designs.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any request that may pose legal, ethical, or reputational risk.

10. Giveaways & Promotions

  • Giveaways are subject to separate Giveaway Terms & Conditions.

  • Entry requirements, eligibility, prizes, and timelines will be clearly stated.

  • No purchase is necessary unless explicitly stated.

  • Rug ’N’ Roll reserves the right to amend or withdraw giveaways at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Rug ’N’ Roll shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Privacy & Data

  • Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • We do not sell personal data to third parties.

  • Mailing list sign-ups are optional unless clearly stated otherwise.
